Meliá Hotels International announces the opening of its first hotel at Chongqing China

With this new opening, Meliá has 7 hotels in China and 5 in the opening process.

Meliá Chongqing is an urban resort located within the Tieshanping Forest Park. It has easy access to downtown Chongqing, which is only a 30-minute drive from the hotel, as well as to Chongqing Jianbei International Airport, which is a 20-minute drive from Meliá Chongqing.

The Meliá Chongqing is composed of 230 rooms and suites ranging from 45 to 225 m2, the YHI Spa, part of the Meliá Hotels & Resort brand, a 24-hour fitness center, and two heated swimming pools, one indoor and the other outdoor. For those traveling with the family, the hotel also has a Kid's Club adapted to different age ranges.

Meliá Chongqing features six different gastronomic proposals, ranging from traditional Chinese cuisine to Spanish specialties. In addition, the hotel offers The Level experience, with which guests will have access to reserved areas of the hotel and exclusive services.

The hotel has different convention spaces, totaling more than 6,000 square meters, including a large main hall, a theater-type space, an oval room and different multifunctional meeting rooms, as well as VIP rooms.
