Meliá Hotels International, is set to expand its portfolio with the introduction of a new luxury hotel in Cádiz, Spain.
Slated to open in 2026, this establishment will mark the 28th Meliá property in Andalusia.
The project involves the renovation of two architecturally significant buildings located on Alameda Apodaca, in the San Carlos neighborhood, close to the sea. These buildings are set to be transformed while preserving their historical essence.
The hotel is planned to feature 40 rooms. Concerning the amenities, the hotel will boast a terrace restaurant, a rooftop pool, an equipped gym, and a wellness area.

This new addition in Cádiz will be a part of the Meliá Collection. This expansion further solidifies Meliá's position in the luxury hotel sector, both in Spain and internationally.
This hotel will be Meliá's second in the city of Cádiz and its sixth in the province, joining a portfolio that includes more than 1,000 rooms in the region.
