The Moxy Canalside has just opened in Utrecht, 45 kilometers south of Amsterdam.
This new hotel completes the hotel group's portfolio in the Netherlands and is ideally located in the heart of the city of Utrecht, close to the train station and the city's various tourist attractions. The hotel's terrace, which can accommodate up to 100 people, overlooks the Vaartsche Rijn canal next door.
The hotel, operated by Hotel Co 51 and managed by Jordy Smit, has 172 rooms, 9 of which are suitable for families as well as for people with disabilities. Guests can take advantage of the bar, offering different cocktails, a meeting room, a fitness center and a breakfast area.
Finally, what characterizes the Moxy Canalside and Moxy hotels in general are the site-specific elements that have been incorporated. In this property, there is a Rietveld chair in the center of the lobby, typical Dutch chairs from the nearby factory in the lobby, and a pen drawing of Utrecht in the hallway.
