Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has announced that it will manage a new urban resort that is currently under development in Viña del Mar, Chile.

Mandarin Oriental, Viña del Mar is scheduled to open in 2020 with 195 guestrooms and suites. The property will have a prime oceanfront position with direct beach access and proximity to the city’s main shopping destination. Viña del Mar has long been a popular weekend destination from Santiago.

Having grown from its Asian roots into a global brand, Mandarin Oriental declares to operates 31 hotels and eight residences in 21 countries and territories.
