The trendy Marais district will very soon be home to a new kind of hostel, an opening that attests to the profound metamorphosis that this segment is currently undergoing with the emergence of numerous new actors.

The People Paris Marais is due to open in mid-May 2022 and will join the brand's three other properties in Bercy, Nation and Belleville. This new property will offer 400 beds divided into dormitories, double rooms and family rooms. An offer that adapts to all types of clientele.

In order to complete its offer, the hostel will also offer 700 m² of space dedicated to F&B and festive events. This space, called "Titi Palacio", is located under a vast greenhouse where guests can enjoy bistronomic, plant-based and seasonal cuisine. This is a way of making the property part of the sustainable development movement.

The Titi Palacio will be open from morning to night so that customers can enjoy breakfast as well as live bands. In addition to a restaurant area, this space will also house a bar and a café "guinguette".

The People presents itself as a lifestyle brand of hybrid hostels. The brand's hostels "are at the crossroads of the youth hostel and the boutique hotel", offering modern and innovative services and living spaces.

Grape Hospitality, owned by Eurazeo, acquired The People brand in 2020 to position itself in the fast-growing next-generation hostel segment. The brand is present in other major French cities such as Marseille, Strasbourg, Tours, Lille but also in the 2 Alpes.
