A partnership with the Cambodian Grand Lion group, Le Méridien (388 rooms) will be part of Gold Coast in Sihanouville – a $200 million hotel and residential complex.

The property will include three restaurants, two bars, a fitness center, a spa, meeting and event rooms for 400 people, and a beach club with overflowing pools (opening January 2022).

Towering 58 storeys high, all 888 units of the Lyon D'or residence tower will enjoy a panoramic sea views of the Gulf of Thailand. Designed for an upscale clientele, Lyon D'or will have a rooftop infinity pool, a sky lounge, a fitness center, a spa, a recreation and multi-purpose rooms.

The project will be designed by Bangkok-based Tandem Architects 2001 and interior designer firm, JKY Concept. The residences will be exclusively marketed by Knight Frank, a global real estate consultancy.

Named after its former king Norodom Sihanouk, Sihanoukville has evolved from a sleepy beach town and port city to one of Cambodia's premier beach destinations. Its close proximity to surrounding tropical islands and Ream National Park has attracted a growing number of international visitors over the years.

The Gold Coast at Sihanoukville, built by Nath Land Development, a division of the Grand Lion Group, follows the opening of Courtyard by Marriott Siem Reap Resort in January 2018.
