JW Marriott, part of Marriott International, makes its North Carolina debut today with the opening of the JW Marriott Charlotte, located in the vibrant Uptown area of the bustling South End.
The luxury hotel features 381 guest rooms, including 34 custom suites. All guest rooms and most of the hotel's 22,000 square feet of meeting space feature floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the city, the stadium and the Charlotte region.
Inspired by the city's namesake, Queen Charlotte, the JW Marriott Charlotte takes the lavish textiles of her royal robes and palaces and blends them with the city's modern sensibilities.
One of the most striking features of the JW Marriott Charlotte is its use of natural light.
With the opening of the JW Marriott Charlotte, we will ensure that every detail is taken care of, so our guests can focus on themselves during their stay. With thoughtful details throughout the property, holistic programming and an array of wellness offerings, guests will be encouraged to live each moment to the fullest.

The hotel also features a 24-hour fitness center and a rooftop outdoor pool with private cabanas offering personalized food and beverage service. Guests can also enjoy a spa and treatments.
The JW Marriott Charlotte offers three new concepts for guests and locals:
- Dean's Italian Steakhouse - A classic American steakhouse featuring a show kitchen where guests can watch American Wagyu beef and other prime cuts being prepared, as well as authentic homemade pasta dishes.
- Caroline's Oyster Bar - The setting is set by a central 360-degree bar and an eight-seat Caroline-style raw oyster bar.
- Aura Rooftop - Tucked away on the fifth floor, this lush botanical paradise features a bar and pool offering magnetic vibes and a regal tone.
We couldn't be more proud to introduce the JW Marriott brand to the Carolinas. With its seamless integration into the vibrant Uptown neighborhood, modern design, wellness amenities and inspired culinary concepts, the JW Marriott Charlotte brings excellence and heritage to life in another new city.
