The newly built IntercityHotel Herford, which just opens its doors to first clients, is operated by Scoop Hotels, a franchise partner of Deutsche Hospitality.

The hotel features 135 guest rooms, a breakfast restaurant and bar, three meeting rooms boasting 90 square meters. Italian architect and designer Matteo Thun was in charge of the interior design.

The IntercityHotel Herford is located in the heart of the city, near Herford main station. Directly across the street is the "Marta Herford" museum for contemporary art, architecture and design, which opened its doors in 2005.

We are very pleased with the successful launch of our new hotel in Herford, a city that has much to offer both businesswise and culturally. After celebrating the opening of MAXX Hotel Aalen in June, IntercityHotel Herford is already the second hotel this year that we have been able to open with our partner Scoop Hotels.

The opening of IntercityHotel Herford on 1 October is another milestone in the joint history of Deutsche Hospitality and Scoop Hotels. Guests in Herford can look forward to a combination of mobility, design, comfort and service in actual practice.
