Richard Branson wants to rejuvenate the world of cruises.

Launched a few years ago, the idea of entering the cruise industry for Richard Branson took shape with Virgin Voyages. The subsidiary unveiled the public spaces of its first liner under construction in Italy.

To revitalize the concept, the architects of the new ships were chosen for their lack of knowledge of the sector in order to conquer a clientele unattracted by this type of holiday.

The ship will have a private terrace for passengers in its suites, a vast outdoor lounge, an original discotheque, a Mexican restaurant and a culinary laboratory where passengers will be able to enjoy a wide range of culinary experiences.

This cruise ship, 278 metres long and 38 metres wide, will have 1,400 cabins and can welcome more than 2,700 passengers and 1,150 staff members. It will enter service in 2020 and will be operated in the United States. Two other boats plan to sail the seas in 2021 and 2022.

However, clients must be over 18 years of age.
