The group announced two new hotels in exclusive location.
InterContinental Hotels Group announced a partnership with Arabia Hotels, a subsidiary of Arabia Holding to sign of two new hotels in Giza, Egypt: Holiday Inn Giza Sun Capital and Staybridge Giza Sun Capital.
“Egypt is an important market for us and we have a strong presence in the country with over 2 000 rooms, and robust pipeline across our brands” declared Pascal Gauvin, Managing Director, India, Middle East & Africa, IHG.

Overlooking the Pyramids, the 200-room Holiday Inn Giza Sun Capital and 150-room Staybridge Suites Giza Sun Capital are scheduled to open in 2023.
Both hotels will be part of Sun Capital, a mixed-use project that will offer a large commercial area, a luxury commercial mall, an Egyptian Cultural themed park, an international university and an international school. Hotels will be located 30 minutes away from the city centre and 15-minute drive from the 6th October Airport.
