IHG launches Staybridge Suites in Asia Pacific

InterContinental Hotels Group signed a management agreement with Origin Property Public Company Limited to open Staybridge Suites in Asia Pacific.

Positioned on the all-suite extended stay segment, the brand will debut in Thailand – Staybridge Suites Bangkok Thonglor in 2019 in association with Normura Real Estate Development Company Limited and Staybridge Suites Chonburi Siracha in 2020.

Both new hotels will benefit from the signature brand’s offer of a welcoming, residential environment. The clientele will be able to find homey and comfortable suites, full-equipped kitchens, separate working spaces, entertainment and free Wi-Fi.

With the growth of long-stay accommodations in Bangkok, Rajit Sukumaran, Chief Development Officer, Asia Middle East Africa for IHG, considers this partnership a good opportunity “to expand [its] portfolio of different hotels brands regionally”.
