Hexagon Hospitality Management SAS has entered into a long-term lease with a subsidiary of the Foncière Saint-Honoré (FSH) group to open Hyatt Place Cannes in 2023.
The new property illustrates the dynamism of the brand in the fast-growing Select Service category.
"Hyatt Place Cannes is an excellent example of the growing presence of the Hyatt brand in key locations. The Hyatt Place brand allows us to establish ourselves in these locations with an offering designed for both business and leisure travellers. We are pleased to work with Hexagon Hospitality Management SAS and the FSH Group to deliver the select service experience for which the Hyatt Place brand is known. "said Nuno Galvao Pinto, Regional Vice President of European Development for Hyatt.
Among the 152 rooms, Hyatt Place Cannes will feature seven suites and two dining areas, the Zoom Glocal Dining bar-restaurant, a rooftop and an infinity pool with sea view. The lobby and lounge, open on two floors and with fully glazed walls, are in addition to a fitness centre and event space.
"Working with Hyatt on such an exciting project makes us very proud and we are delighted to develop a new jewel on the French Riviera. According to the French Regional Tourist Office, the Côte d'Azur welcomes more than ten million visitors each year. The Hyatt Place Cannes will be an ideal place to stay for visitors to the region. "says Pierre Salles, Hexagon Hospitality Management SAS.
"We are proud to be working with Hyatt and Hexagon Hospitality Management SAS to develop the new Hyatt Place Cannes and we hope this partnership will be the first of many," said Stéphane Uzan, La Foncière Saint-Honoré.
Hyatt Place Cannes will become the 14 Hyatt hotel in France, where Hyatt currently holds its largest portfolio of hotels in Europe. In addition, Hyatt Place Paris - Charles de Gaulle Airport and Hyatt House Paris - Charles de Gaulle Airport are scheduled to open in Q4 2020 and Hyatt Place Rouen is scheduled to open in 2022.
