Three hotels that will mark the beginning of Hyatt's JDV Hotel brand in Europe.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced that a Hyatt subsidiary has entered into franchise agreements with Story Hotels Holding AB to combine three hotels in Sweden under the JDV Hotel brand, contributing to the growth of Hyatt's independent collection brand in Europe.

The three boutique hotels - Story Hotel Riddargatan and Story Hotel Signalfabriken in Stockholm and Story Hotel Studio Malmö in Sweden - will all retain their hotel names and identities. All three Story Hotels will be available for booking through Hyatt reservation channels and World of Hyatt members will be able to earn and redeem points for stays beginning April 15, 2021.

Hyatt's portfolio of independent collections is a set of brands that not only encompass the places where each hotel resides, but also serve as a gateway to some of the world's most sought-after destinations.

Briana Swift, Director of Development Europe and South-West Asia at Hyatt :

We are very excited to bring together these three Story Hotels in Europe under the Hyatt JDV Hotel brand and at the same time expand the footprint of the Hyatt Hotel in Sweden. We are focused on thoughtful growth in locations that meet the needs of our guests and members, and the upcoming addition of three Story Hotels helps us fuel this growth in markets such as Scandinavia, as we work with owners who want to maintain the unique identity of each property.

Story Hotel Riddargatan, Story Hotel Signalfabriken and Story Hotel Studio Malmö are located in the heart of their destinations and each will celebrate the areas in which the properties reside. With a modern, Scandinavian design that reflects the avant-garde nature of both cities, the hotels will offer amenities for both business and leisure travellers.

The three hotels will offer individually designed, charming rooms, lively public spaces and food and beverage offerings appreciated by visitors and locals alike. As the size of the stores reflects their urban location, each hotel will offer free access to local gyms during their stay.
