British hotel operator The Hoxton is entering the Spanish market with the opening of its first ever hotel in Barcelona.
The Hoxton, Poblenou opened its doors on Monday 25 March 2022 in the heart of one of the most creative areas of the Catalan capital. The hotel is housed in an 11-storey building with a rooftop terrace with a swimming pool and views of the Sagrada Familia.
It has 240 rooms with an interior design influenced by Mediterranean architecture. Like all the "open door hotels" that define the chain, The Hoxton, Poblenou also stands out for its very spacious and bright lobby, which is always open to guests and residents alike.
The F&B offer is represented by two spaces: the Mexican bar and taqueria Tope located on the roof, and the Four Corners pizzeria located on the ground floor of the hotel.
The hotel can also host various events with the El Apartamento space, which has three spacious meeting rooms and a shared kitchen. It also has the La Cava room in the basement, a multi-purpose space with a larger capacity.
The Hoxton opened its first hotel in 2006 in the British capital and currently has a portfolio of eleven properties in nine destinations in Europe and the USA. On the European continent, in addition to London and Barcelona, it has hotels in Paris, Rome and Amsterdam.
