The Hoxton has announced the opening of its second property in the Dutch capital.
The Hoxton, Lloyd Amsterdam is a 136-key hotel situated in Amsterdam’s Docklands neighbourhood. It is housed in a 20th century Art-Deco building that used to belong to the Royal Dutch Lloyd Shipping Company.
The interior design of the property is signed by Ennismore’s AIME Studios and local firm Nicemakers. The Hoxton, Lloyd Amsterdam also features an all-Dutch artwork collection courtesy of a neighbouring gallery.
In terms of F&B, the hotel offers Breman Brasserie, which serves up European and South American-inspired cuisine. The main restaurant is completed by a 270-seater terrace. The hotel’s cocktail bar, Barbue, likewise combines South American and European flavours in its drinks menu.
Finally, the hotel is home to a brand staple, The Apartment. The hybrid meeting and events space comprises two private rooms, the Dining Room, and Drawing Room, all set around a central kitchen pantry.
