EMEA
Mondrian is making its debut on the French market with an opening in Cannes on March 10. Accor's upscale lifestyle brand is setting up shop on the site where the city's first palace, the Grand Hotel, once stood. The Mondrian Cannes offers 75 rooms and suites, the Mr. Nakamoto restaurant and bar, more than 4,000 square meters of gardens, the Hyde Beach private beach concept and six flexible rooms.
The Mama Shelter Rennes has just opened its doors, featuring 119 rooms, five meeting rooms, three karaoke rooms, several F&B spaces, a fitness area, a spa and a pool.
SO/ Uptown Dubai Residences, operated by Ennismore, offers 227 properties available on the highest floors of the new Uptown Tower. The offering is complemented by an indoor pool, SO/ FIT Gym, SO/ Kids Club, sky lounge and a multi-purpose room that doubles as a private cinema.
Red Sea Global has announced that a new Four Seasons resort will join its upcoming beach destination. Designed by Foster + Partners, the resort will feature approximately 149 guest rooms and suites, all with ocean views. In addition to its rooms, the site will include six restaurants and lounges, meeting and event spaces, a marine discovery center, a full-service spa with steam room, tennis courts and three outdoor pools.
In April, the new JW Marriott Masai Mara Lodge will open in Kenya. This property will be the first JW Marriott to cater to the safari market in Africa. There will be twenty luxury tents, all with private Jacuzzi's on the terrace. Common areas will include indoor and outdoor dining areas, a lounge bar, spa, gym and photography studio.
Americas
The Steward, a Marriott Tribute Portfolio hotel, will debut this spring in Santa Barbara, California. The 87-suite boutique hotel will feature a restaurant, library, intimate lobby marketplace, meeting and event space, bar, tasting room, pool and outdoor fitness area.
Evermore Orlando Resort, located adjacent to Walt Disney World®, and Conrad Orlando will open in 2024. Evermore will offer nearly 1,500 rooms, 69 homes, 206 flats and 41 villas. Conrad Orlando will offer 433 rooms, including 51 suites and 10 spacious family suites. Other amenities include ample indoor meeting space, a spa, private pool area, fitness centre and numerous dining options.
HRI Hospitality, announces the completion of its new hotel project, Tempo by Hilton Nashville Downtown. The 16-story, 306-room hotel is scheduled to open in spring 2024. The new hotel will feature 10,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor meeting space, a fitness centre, an expansive pool, an outdoor bar and a variety of F&B offerings, including a ground-floor Bluestone Lane café.
Solaz, a Luxury Collection Resort, Los Cabos reopens after an extensive renovation and expansion, now featuring 21 new luxury suite offerings and a new dining concept. The new suites bring the total number of rooms and suites at the resort to 145.
Asia
The Maldives welcomes two new hotels this year: the Barcelo Whale Lagoon Maldives hotel with 100 rooms divided into 63 beach villas, 30 water villas and seven suites with pools, three restaurants, four bars, a 37-metre long infinity pool, another panoramic pool and a spa. And the 176-room Avani+ Fares Maldives by Minor Hotels.
Mandarin Oriental Exclusive Homes is launching its first property in Bali: Uluwatu Estate. The sprawling estate features open-air living spaces, gardens and reflection pools linking the eight self-contained suites as well as a private spa and restaurant.
The Danang Marriott Resort & Spa recently opened on Vietnam's central coast. The hotel features 200 rooms and suites and 39 villas, five infinity pools, a Quan Spa, the Great Room lobby concept, the Goji Kitchen + Bar which is an international culinary market and Madame Son Restaurant.
The Emblems Collection Hotel in Phu Quoc, scheduled to open in 2025, will mark the brand's debut in Vietnam. The retreat, developed by Dai Minh Phu Quoc Company Limited, will feature 122 guest rooms and 24 villas, two restaurants, a café area, bar, spa, yoga studio and fitness centre as well as an outdoor pool and children's pool.
Accor will open the Pullman Phuket Arcadia Karon Beach Resort this year. The resort features 662 guest rooms and suites, eight restaurants and bars, a beach club, three pools, a spa, outdoor tennis courts, a fitness centre, a ballroom, five flexible function spaces and outdoor event venues, and a business centre.
Meanwhile, Fairmont will make its first move into Thailand with the opening of Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit in 2024. The 419-room hotel will feature a variety of restaurants and bars, a rooftop bar, swimming pool, fitness centre, spa and wellness centre and extensive meeting facilities.
Delano, part of the Ennismore portfolio, will also debut in South Korea with the opening of The Delano House Seoul in 2026. The property will offer 81 rooms and 52 residences as well as culinary and mixology experiences, a members' club, a sunken garden and an indoor and outdoor rooftop infinity pool.
Meanwhile, IHG is announcing the growth of the Holiday Inn brand in Thailand by rebranding two resorts in Phuket: the Surin Phuket Beach Resort and the Karon Phuket Beach Resort. The 256-room Holiday Inn Resort Phuket Surin Beach will feature an arcade, cinema, ice cream shop, toy shop, three restaurants and bars, swimming pool, fitness centre, spa and kids club. The 224-room Holiday Inn Resort Phuket Karon Beach features five restaurants and bars, three swimming pools, a fitness centre, spa and kids club.
Also in Thailand, the Radisson Resort & Spa Hua Hin offers 243 rooms and suites, two restaurants, three bars, six function areas, an outdoor pool, a water sports centre, a fitness centre, a spa, a skate park and direct access to the beach.
Scheduled to open in 2026, the Radisson Collection Hotel, Tashkent will be the group's first Radisson Collection hotel in Central Asia, specifically in Uzbekistan. The hotel will offer 164 rooms, including presidential suites and flats, a restaurant, lobby bar and Sky Bar, an executive lounge with VIP lounge and a spa with pools.
Finally, Hilton plans to open a DoubleTree in India in early 2026. DoubleTree by Hilton Nagpur will offer 135 rooms, large spaces for weddings and social events and a wide range of dining offerings, including a rooftop bar.
Oceania
Dorsett is opening a new property in Australia with the opening of Dosertt Melbourne this month. The rooms, designed by award-winning architects Cottee Parker, are spread over eight floors. The offering is complemented by an indoor heated pool, spa, sauna, steam room, wellness room, gym, meeting space, restaurant and bar.
TFE Hotels is introducing its Vibe Hotels brand to Adelaide, which offers a range of room categories, a terrace, pool, spa and sauna, as well as the Storehouse Flinders East restaurant and bar, which will showcase local produce.
Finally, IHG has signed a management agreement with Palau Coral Club to open Hotel Indigo Palau in late 2024. It will feature approximately 200 rooms, an all-day neighborhood café and separate restaurant, a poolside bar, meeting rooms for 60 people, a resort, pool, spa and gym.
