The largest project of the management company Primestar is being opened to the public in the north of Munich.
The partnership between Primestar Hotel and the two international groups Hilton Worldwide and IHG Hotels& Resorts continues with the opening of two new locations.
The Holiday Inn Express offers 270 rooms which opened on Wednesday 2 March. The combo will be completed by 258 keys of the Hampton by Hilton opening in mid-March 2022. The Hilton-branded property will also offer a conference area and a fitness centre.
The properties are located close to the Munich North business district and the Allianz Arena. The property is owned by Union Investment, which has partnered with Primestar Hotel before.
The property focuses on low-carbon mobility by offering two electric vehicles for rent as well as electrically assisted bicycles. The property is also highlighting the public transport offer.
Andreas Erben, managing partner of the Primestar Group, says: "We have used the last difficult year to further reposition the company for growth, as already announced in June 2021. With its existing hotels in Germany's A-city locations, we are firmly convinced that the group is well positioned for the next recovery period. We are continuing to reposition the Group around the strategic thrusts of technology and digitalisation as well as building an own brand focused on long-term and workspace."
Primestar currently manages 14 properties in Germany according to the group's statements and is looking at a minimum growth of 20 properties in the coming years. The creation of a new brand as announced by its deputy director will focus on the economy/midscale segment including a long stay offer and aimed at co-workers. The group plans to convert existing properties to implement its brand.
