Hambourg

Premier Inn has signed a rental agreement for a new development in the immediate vicinity of Hamburg Central Station, marking the construction of the brand's 7th property in the German city.

The site chosen for the development of this new property covers a total area of 3,800 m². The site is being developed by PEG and the Reiß & Co group, with the aim of opening the hotel by 2028. Furthermore, the architectural firm RKW Architekten+ is in charge of the realisation.

The new property will have 285 rooms, in addition to the 1,000 rooms already operated by the brand in Hamburg. Premier Inn is also one of Germany's leading hotel operators, with no fewer than 56 hotels in operation and a further 34 under development.

We are big fans of Hamburg and look forward to securing another property there. The Hanseatic city has a very strong hotel market and we still see enormous growth potential for Premier Inn.

Chris-Norman Sauer, Acquisitions Director Germany, Premier Inn

With Premier Inn, we have been able to gain an important partner as well as a strong international hotel brand for the site and we are very pleased with this long-standing collaboration. Business travellers and city tourists will benefit from the new range of services and the excellent regional connections.

Christian Marquardt, Director of Projekt Hamburg Adenauerallee GmbH

This announcement comes shortly after the opening of three new hotels in just one week in Germany, in the cities of Lindau, Munich and Cologne.
