Fauchon Hospitality will open a second facility in Kyoto, Japan in March 2021.
Fauchon has been a well-known brand in Japan for 47 years, and currently operates 28 stores, two coffee shops and two bakeries with coffee shops throughout the country.
Fauchon Kyoto Hotel will open in 2020 in the center of Kyoto, in the Shimogyo-ku district, about 10 minutes from Gion, Higashiyama and Kawaramachi-Shijo districts. The hotel will have 70 rooms and suites as well as a Fauchon bakery at street level.
Check-in and reception will take place on the top floor, which will also house the Grand Café Fauchon, with a view of Kyoto and the mountains. The Fauchon Hotel in Kyoto is part of a service and trademark licensing agreement between Hotel W Management Co, Ltd, a subsidiary of Wealth Management, and Fauchon Hospitality.
Fauchon Hospitality is the new hotel division of Fauchon created specifically to ensure the full global development of the Fauchon Hotel portfolio. The company was founded in 2018. The principal officers of Fauchon Hospitality are Jacques-Olivier Chauvin, President and Chief Executive Officer, Samy Vischel, Executive Vice President, Emmanuelle Mordacq, Senior Vice President Marketing and Bernard Lambert, Business Development Manager.
