The brand is going to open Fairfield by Marriott Shanghai Jing’an.

For Mike Fulkerson, Vice President of Brand & Marketing for the Asia Pacific region, the opening of Fairfield by Marriott Shanghai Jing’an is a “significant milestone for the brand’s expansion”.

The hotel offers 195 guestrooms of contemporary style. It is owned and managed by New Development Group Co, Ltd.

The property is located in the Jing’an District of Shanghai, next to the commercial and business hub of the city. It is also located 9 miles (14 km) from Shanghai Hongqiao Airport and 20 miles (32 km) from Shanghai Pudong International airport.

As of January 1, 2017, Marriott International ranked 1st worldwide hotel group with 5,997 establishments totaling over 1,169,000 rooms, according to data published by Hospitality ON.
