EVEN Hotels brand to debut in China

InterContinental Hotels Group has announced the introduction of its EVEN Hotels brand in China

The British group IHG, has announced the arrival of its EVEN brand in China. Whilst currently limited to locations in North America, IHG is in the process of introducing the brand to Australia and New Zealand as well as this latest announcement, marking the arrival of the brand to China. The first four EVEN hotels will be in Shanghai, Sanya, Chongqing and Jinan.

Shanghai: Due for completion in 2020. It will feature 250 rooms and will be located close to key attractions in the area.

Sanya: Due for completion in 2019. Situation in Sanya Yalong Bay it will feature 134 hotel rooms and 92 villa rooms.

Chongqing: Due for completion in 2022. Forming part of a sports themed complex, it will feature 250 rooms.

Jinan: Due for completion in 2020. Situated in the capital city of Shandong Province, it will feature 290 rooms.

As of January 1, 2017, InterContinental Hotels Group was the 3rd hotel group worldwide with close to 5,200 properties for a total of more than 750,000 rooms, according to data published by Hospitality ON.
