A third IntercityHotel will be installed in the Rembrandt, Jan Vermeer and Vincent Van Gogh's homeland in 2023.
After the IntercityHotel Enschede and the IntercityHotel Amsterdam Airport, scheduled to open this year, Deutsche Hospitality is adding the IntercityHotel Breda in the North Brabant's province to its portfolio.
The IntercityHotel Breda is built at the main railway station and offers 174 rooms, a bar, restaurant and conference rooms. The new building is part of the "5Tracks" project, which was initiated by the developer Synchroon and the construction company JP van Eesteren and offers 168 apartments, 15,500 square meters of office space, as well as stores and restaurants. As in most Intercity hotels, Breda guests have access to offers such as the IntercityHotel application or the FreeCityTicket to use local public transport.
Marcus Bernhardt, CEO Deutsche Hospitality :
The Netherlands is an important market for our global expansion strategy, and IntercityHotel offers great growth potential among our brands. Breda is an important business location with exceptional transport connections.
The hotel will be operated through a lease agreement between STAG Hotels Netherlands BV, Synchroon BV and JP van Eesteren BV. Construction will start as planned in the summer of 2021. In addition to the IntercityHotel brand, Deutsche Hospitality is also represented in the Netherlands with the Steigenberger Airport Hotel Amsterdam and the Jaz in the City Amsterdam.
