As announced by Robin Chadha, marketing director, in spring, the second New York location opens its doors.

300 rooms will be crowned by a roof-top bar which will be the highest point of view on this Manhattan artery. 

citizenM Bowery draws inspiration from the local community for the interior of the hotel, with an eclectic decoration combining contemporary art, photography and objects by local artists. To note, the collaboration with the collective 5 Pointz, for an installation which will extend on the 20 floors of the hotel. citizenM also set up an agreement with the New Museum and its incubator NEW INC for loans of works which will decorate the rooms.

By 2020, the group will have about 40 hotels open or in the process of opening worldwide, doubling its current workforce. citizenM plans to open a dozen hotels in North America in major cities such as Seattle, Boston, Washington DC, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Miami.
