The CAB20 is to become an innovative hotel concept, which is to create new impulses for the tourism industry.

The opening of the hotel, located in the Sankt Georg district and only a few minutes walk from Hamburg's main train and bus station, is planned for June 2021.

The future cabin hotel will be characterized by modern sleeping cabins, an urban lifestyle and will be led by the motto "digital first". Behind the project stands Fährhaus Investment Group with its managing director Dr. Mathias Krahl.

The new hotel will offer a total of 176 rooms in the form of cabins. According to the creators, it is inspired by the space-efficient architecture of Japanese hotels, but at the same time adapted to European requirements. With its functional design, combining a community-friendly environment with a maximum of individuality, the CAB20 tries to differentiate itself from other hotels and hostels.

The target group is the young, travel-enthusiastic Generation Y, who values experience and sustainability. The CAB20 is designed to offer these people a balance between individual privacy and community spirit.

Lasse Lütjens, Managing Director of the CAB20, explains:

The CAB20 is a hospitality brand that wants to inspire guests, locals and employees. Our aim is to offer more with less. Less frills and less time. But more comfort and style.

In this spirit, the cabin hotel also wants to be modern in terms of payment: a digital wristband will allow guests to pay without having to go to the hotel bar or lobby.
