Already established in Spain since 2020, The Boost Society (formerly Groupe KLEY) is continuing its international expansion with the acquisition of two new student residences in Cadiz and Valencia, under the Campus brand.
With 1.5 million students and only 97,000 beds available in student residences, the Spanish market represents a major opportunity for coliving players like The Boost Society. Aware of this potential, the group is expanding its portfolio of student residences in the country by setting its sights on Cadiz and Valencia, two well-known student cities that are experiencing strong rent pressure.
The Group's two new residences will open their doors in September 2025, after a construction period of between 18 and 24 months.
The Valencia residence will be located in the heart of the CEU Moncada campus, and will be the first private residence in this area. It will comprise 232 flats ranging from T1 to T6, with a total living area of 4,900 m², including 467 m² dedicated to interior communal areas alone. The offer will be completed by a large patio comprising a relaxation area and a swimming pool, as well as a 100 m² rooftop. The Boost Society already has plans to make further investments in the city, Spain's third most populous.
The Cadiz residence will also be located at the heart of the city's campus, and will be the Group's second project of this kind in the student city. It will eventually offer 132 homes ranging from T1 'small' to T1L, and as in Valencia, 315 sq. metres of interior communal space will be dedicated to well-being. The residence will also offer almost 670 m² of outdoor space, including two patios and 2 rooftops, one of which includes a swimming pool.
We are delighted with this acquisition, which will strengthen the presence of our CAMPUS student brand in these 2 beautiful Spanish cities. We have great ambitions for the Iberian Peninsula, and a number of discussions are already underway to establish ourselves in Spain's major student cities. In each of these cities, we want our student residences to contribute to the well-being of young people, and therefore to the development of the universities, through the quality of their accommodation, communal areas and services.
