The new property B&B Hotel Famalicão marks the opening of the 8th hotel of the B&B Hotels brand in Portugal and its expansion on the Iberian Peninsula.

The B&B Hotel Famalicão, located on Rua António Ferreira Magalhães in the city of Vila Nova de Famalicão, has 98 rooms and is classified as a 3-star hotel.

This new property is the work of architect Jorge Domingues, who has won prizes and honourable mentions in international architectural competitions such as in Denmark and Austria.

B&B Hotels will operate it on the basis of a guaranteed lease for at least 15 years, thus consolidating its "asset light" business model in the Iberian Peninsula.

With the opening of the B&B Hotel Famalicão, the hotel operator now has eight hotels in Portugal, with 755 rooms and 12 flats. 

2022 is a strategic year for our growth in Portugal. A very attractive destination where our hotels are very well received and where we have announced various openings in 2020 and 2021. We are already present in important cities such as Lisbon, Coimbra and Porto, among others.
