The Ascott Limited (Ascott), a wholly-owned hotel subsidiary of CapitaLand Investment Limited (CLI), is launching a major renovation program for its residences as part of the launch of its new Citadines brand identity: "For the love of Cities".

After 18 months of work, Citadines La Défense Paris is the first to unveil its brand new design. Its 234 apartments and living spaces have just been transformed by the Belgian architectural firm Dinterieur. The renovation of Citadines Les Halles Paris will begin next May and will also be carried out by the same architectural firm.

The Citadines Les Halles residence is located in the hyper center of Paris and has 189 apartments just a few minutes from the Place du Châtelet. Dominique Hottois chose to capitalize on the existing structure of the building and the large interior greenhouse to bring a green setting to the heart of Paris.

The new studios and apartments can accommodate up to six people and offer a modern living space with a fully equipped kitchen, office space, safe and air conditioning. They also come with à la carte services: upgraded breakfast, private parking, laundry service and extra cleaning.

As part of Ascott's CSR approach, all the companies selected to work on this renovation project have Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) status. As for the furniture, the chairs, armchairs and tables are certified solvent-free and the wood used is 100% legally sourced and verified to ISO 38200, and was transported to the production site by rail for environmentally friendly transportation.

"Hotel groups today want to have specific and unique designs depending on the location and the clientele of their establishments. Ascott trusted us for the renovation of this large residence that is Citadines La Défense to achieve a modern and cosy atmosphere. This concept will be totally different for Les Halles. We want each building to have its own DNA."

"These renovations are part of a global reflection on the new expectations of travelers. We need to offer them unique experiences that best meet their needs while maintaining the DNA of each of our residences. We are delighted to collaborate with Dominique Hottois, who was able to bring our ideas to life for these two new designs."
