Roc will retain ownership of all its assets and will focus its management on the Caribbean zone.
The Apple Leisure Group has entered into a long-term agreement with Roc Hotels for the management of 16 hotels in Spain. The establishments, which will remain the property of Roc Hotels, are located in Mallorca, Menorca, Torremolinos, Marbella, Roquetas de Mar and La Manga del Mar Menor, with a total of 4,200 rooms, according to the American company. The agreement provides for the arrival of AMResorts (ALG's hotel brand manager, which already operates in the Canary and Balearic Islands) in the Iberian Peninsula.
Apple Leisure Group said :
AMResorts will begin operating the hotels during the 2021 season, and the transition to the Alua Hotels & Resorts brand will be gradual between 2021 and 2022. The hotels will also offer the "Unlimited Experience" service, which provides guests with unlimited access to the restaurant without prior reservation, unlimited access to branded alcoholic beverages, natural juices and soft drinks, pool and beach service, daily refills at the mini-bar and day and nighttime entertainment activities.

This operation allows us to join forces with a large international group such as Apple Leisure Group, and we are certain that it will give rise to numerous synergies between the two companies. At Roc, we will combine this collaboration with the management of the rest of our portfolio, mainly in the Caribbean.
