Marriott International has announced the integration of a new address into its Courtyard by Marriott brand portfolio with the brand new Courtyard by Marriott Paris Roissy Charles de Gaulle.
After the inauguration of the Holiday Inn Express Paris - Charles De Gaulle Airport (IHG), it's Marriott International's turn to invest several million euros in the large-scale transformation of a property formerly managed under the Radisson Blu brand (Radisson Hotel Group).
"We are delighted to welcome this property to the Courtyard by Marriott portfolio," said John Licence, Vice-President ¨Premium and Select Brands, Marriott International Europe.
Ideally located between the airport and the city centre, the 240-room hotel reveals the latest Courtyard by Marriott design: green interior design and natural colour palette. The lobby has been designed with the GoBoard concept, touch screen technology that allows users to be connected to the latest information dedicated to the airport and discover the must-see sites around the hotel.
In the airport area, the hotel group also offers a Marriott Hotel with 300 rooms and a Sheraton with 252 keys. In addition, a 292-room Moxy property is under development, with an expected launch in spring 2019.
The Courtyard by Marriott Paris Roissy CDG hotel is the brand's seventh hotel in France and the first of the two new Courtyard by Marriott brand hotels in Paris this year: Courtyard by Marriott Paris Gare de Lyon should open its doors at the end of 2018, bringing the brand's total number of rooms to over 1,000.
Two other properties are planned for 2019, Porte de Versailles and Créteil, which would bring the brand's portfolio in France to ten hotels.
