Apartment hotel operator Adagio is expanding its international portfolio with the opening of 11 new locations this year and will also unveil two new concepts.
As Adagio celebrates its 15th anniversary this year, 11 new openings are planned in five countries. In Germany, the Adagio Original Heidelberg will open, joining the Adagio Access Hamburg Mühlendamm in the brand's German portfolio.
Adagio is also expanding its presence in the Eternal City of Rome, Toulouse, Boulogne-Billancourt and London Whitechapel. The brand is making its debut in sub-Saharan Africa with a property in Abidjan.
In addition to the planned openings across EMEA, Adagio will introduce two new concepts in 2023, namely a new three-star Adagio Access flat and the new Coliving Access flat.
Since its inception in 2007 and over the past 15 years, Adagio has largely consolidated its leadership position in the European aparthotel market. In this respect, 2022 has been a sign of the resilience of the aparthotel business model, with many new contracts and openings, as well as a huge overall performance, well ahead of 2019 and the traditional hotel market.
