ibis Tashkent

The group has announced the signing of a cooperation agreement with Lumiere LLC that will see the opening of the first ibis in Tashkent in 2023. It is the second venture between the two actors, the first will result in the opening of Mercure Tashkent this year.

The hotel will boast 150 guestrooms as well as several shops, a bar, a restaurant and conference rooms. It will occupy a six-storey building on the historic Shota Rustaveli Street.

The new ibis will be located in the heart of the Uzbeki capital, near to its central railway station and airport. Guests will find themselves less than 10 minutes’ walk from city attractions such as Chorsu Bazaar and Eski Shahar Old Town. The Magic City family theme park will also be within close proximity to the hotel.

We are delighted to announce the signing of another project in Central Asia and the premiere of a new brand in Uzbekistan. The popularity of Uzbekistan as a tourist destination has been growing steadily in recent years. The ibis brand is one of the most recognizable and beloved in Accor portfolio and we are confident that the new ibis in Tashkent will contribute to the city's popularity among international travellers. I thank our partner Lumiere LLC for their trust and look forward to many more projects together in this beautiful country.
