Accor announces a significant franchise agreement with its local partner Grand Hotel West, a well-established family-run hotel and restaurant business. This strategic collaboration paves the way for the forthcoming opening of the Mercure hotel in Oradea, scheduled for early 2026.

Currently in the construction phase, the hotel will be located at 37 Ceyrat Street, in the south-eastern part of Oradea, 4 km from the future Nokian Tyres factory and 17 km from Borș, a vital crossing point on the Romanian border with Hungary.

The Mercure Oradea will offer 90 rooms, a restaurant, lobby bar and wine cellar. A multi-purpose conference space houses two multifunctional rooms for up to 150 participants each for business and private events. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool, a spa area and a gym, as well as a children's corner and a spacious car park with 105 spaces.
