25Hours Hotel Paper Island just opened its doors in the heart of the Danish capital, on the island of Christiansholm, marking the inauguration of the second property of the brand in the city.
25hours Hotel Paper Island features 128 rooms ranging from Medium to Gigantic categories, six with their own private outdoor areas, an Asian restaurant, a day bar and a rooftop bar.
Regarding the F&B offer, the restaurant is called Tiger Lily and it is directed by Jan Tran and the team who are behind two successful restaurants in Hamburg. All the cooking is done in an open kitchen. Guests usually eat at communal tables or along the kitchen counter, although the outside terrace overlooking the water is also open in summer.
Situated in the extended lobby on the ground floor, the Nomad Day Bar with a terrace on the quay is a gathering point for guests and inhabitants. Most ingredients for the food and beverages are sourced from local suppliers. The Rooftop Bar on the eighth floor of the hotel rounds off the public amenities.
The ensemble of buildings, planned by the local COBE architects, gains a special aura from its island location. And the design of the hotel was conceived by the Swedish studio Stylt Trampoli who took inspiration from Paper Island’s unique blend of nature and urban lifestyle.
The property is let to KNSA Hospitality Kopenhagen ApS for 25 years and is held by the institutional open-ended real estate fund UniInstitutional European Real Estate.
Completion of the 25hours hotel Paper Island sees an attractive new build being added to our portfolio that will deliver stable long-term income. Copenhagen is one of Europe’s top hotel markets, with high occupancy levels and attractive rates. On Paper Island alone, up to 1.9 million visitors a year are expected in the future.
