Louvre Hotels is launching a new brand, Tulip Residences, to meet the new expectations of travellers in terms of long-term rentals in the context of the current health crisis, and to diversify its offer for its customers and investors. The first two openings of the brand are planned in Joinville-le-Pont around Paris and in Warsaw, Poland.
The Tulip Residences concept
Tulip Residences is the new hybrid concept of Louvre Hotels Group, which will offer a range of 3* products and services, with a subsequent launch of a "Collection" label. With this brand, the French group, under the aegis of the Chinese giant Jin Jiang International, is entering a market with great potential. Tulip Residences are primarily targeted at business travellers, as well as families, groups of friends and seniors travelling for leisure.
Tulip Residences will offer:
- Studios and 2-bedroom serviced apartments with fully equipped kitchens, high-speed internet access and HDTVs;
- A restaurant area, the Tulip Café, which will offer light meals and snacks, including local and organic products. This space will be open every day of the week from 6:30 am to 11 pm;
- Coworking spaces and a wellness area including a yoga room measuring 40 to 60 m², a fitness room and an infratherapy machine, heat therapy that eliminates stress and toxins for relaxation.
The development plans
Louvre Hotels Group is beginning its expansion with two openings: one in Joinville-le-Pont with 48 rooms, 41 studios and 3 flats in April 2021 and the other in Warsaw in June 2021.
Over the next 5 years, the group plans to open 30 Tulip Residences mainly in Europe, in city centres and close to major transport hubs. In addition, at the request of Jin Jiang International, Louvre Hotels Group will continue its development in China by adapting its new offer to the local market. A pilot property is planned for the end of 2021, with the ambition to sign the development of 25 other Tulip Residences by 2022, which will be implanted in the main Chinese metropolis.
To support its development and reassure future investors, Louvre Hotels Group is focusing on innovation and profitability through the nature of its new product. Tulip Residences is willing to attract a wide range of long-term guests (business/leisure) while generating satisfactory operating margins, and the additional revenue factor should be maximised given the all-in-one nature of the product.
Tulip Residences meets the needs of travellers who book extended hotel stays and want the comfort of a hotel as well as stimulating, functional common areas, for both business and personal use.
