Aishow at Bourget

The recovery of indicators that MKG Hospitality observed in May seems to be confirmed in June, with a positive trend in hotel results over all of France.

For the second consecutive month, all hotel indicators are rising in France and national Revenue per available room (RevPAR) improved by 7.2% over the period. Occupancy rates and average daily prices are improving in all hotel categories and suggest better summer prospects than were expected at the beginning of the year. In all, French hoteliers benefitted from a particularly lively events calendar this year. In addition to the traditional Roland Garros French Open, Paris welcomed a new edition of the Bourget Airshow and thus reinforced its influx of foreign visitors. In Province tradeshow activity was also very favorable to the hotel sector, notably in the cities that held international events : Vinexpo in Bordeaux, l'Armada in Rouen, and Marseille Provence 2013. This information is an excerpt of the complete performance report by market in France edited by MKG Hospitality every month.
