For the month of April 2012, Italy had the deepest drop in OR growth amongst all countries in the European Union whilst keeping its OR pegged close to last year’s rates. Consequently, the drop in RevPAR was pretty dramatic, going down 7.6% from last year, also the deepest plunge in RevPAR growth in the European Union.

Venice was notably host of its annual boat show. This year´s Venice International Boat Show/NauticShow welcomed 25,000 visitors.
