
The Florida-based CNL Lifestyle Co. group has put seven resort villages in North America for sale in order to test the market.
CNL Lifestyle Co. has put seven resort villages on the market for $142.5 million, "exploring what pricing the market might deliver for that portfolio", according to Steve Rice, managing director of Florida real-estate investment trust CNL Lifestyle Co. CNL is North America's largest resort owner, with eight Eastern ski resorts and nine Western ski areas.The seven villages include locations in Whistler in British Columbia and Blue Mountain in Ontario (Canada); Copper in California, Snowshoe in West Virginia (pictured), Stratton in Vermont, and Sandestin in Florida (United States). These properties are all fully rented and have been improving since the beginning of the financial crisis.
