Radisson Hotel Group is expanding into Poland's largest seaside resort with a new 4-star hotel.
The Radisson Resort Kolobzerg, located on the Baltic Sea, has 109 rooms and suites, with a minimalist design inspired by the surrounding sea and nature parks. The rooms feature Scandinavian-inspired decor and works by Polish artist Zuzanna Zakrzewska and all have a private balcony with a view. The hotel offers its guests a wide range of services and facilities: a restaurant with an international buffet called "Salmo" and another a la carte restaurant called "Persante", named after the river and offering typical dishes of local cuisine and ingredients from the West Pomennaria region. A lobby bar offers a variety of cocktails and light meals, while the pool bar offers refreshing drinks and snacks.
A unique feature of the Radisson Resort Kolobzerg is its water park. The hotel has two indoor and one outdoor heated pool, indoor and outdoor slides, whirlpools and a relaxation area. There is also an infinity pool on the hotel's roof with a panoramic view of the Baltic Sea. The hotel's spa has a hammam, several treatment rooms where it is possible to perform relaxation rituals, rehabilitation treatments as well as face and body treatments with Phytomer products, which are known for their benefits due to active ingredients of marine origin.
Kolobrzeg has established itself as the spa capital of Poland with over one million visitors per year. In recent years, many spa and wellness facilities have been developed in the city, which attracts more and more tourists every year. The hotel has an ideal location in the heart of the city: in a quieter area, right next to the beach and the Aleksander Fredo Park, famous for its concerts held in the amphitheatre. The nightlife of Kołobrzeg and several sights such as the lighthouse and the pier are only a few kilometres away, as is the Kołobrzeg train station with direct connections to the airport and Warsaw.
Yilmaz Yildirimlar, Area Senior Vice President, Central & Eastern Europe, Russia and Turkey at Radisson Hotel Group, says:
"We are delighted to open the doors to our first Radisson Resort on the Baltic coast. Radisson is a premium hotel brand that offers Scandinavian-inspired hospitality, allowing guests to focus on work-life balance and find harmony in their travel experience. With this exciting addition to our Polish portfolio, we continue our success story as the largest international resort operator in the country."
Radisson Resort Kolobrzeg is operated by Zdrojowa Hotels, the leading investor and operator of resort hotels in Poland, which also operates Radisson Blu Resort, Świnoujście, Radisson Hotel Szklarska Poręba and other hotels in Poland. With this 15th opening in the country, Radisson Hotel Group affirms its position as the leading international resort operator in Poland.
"The Radisson Resort Kolobrzeg will be Zdrojowa's fifth property in Kołobrzeg, strengthening our position in this highly competitive market. The hotel will also perfectly complement the offer for tourists with the first water park hotel in the city. Kołobrzeg is the largest Polish spa, with the highest number of overnight stays in Poland," summarises Maciej Wyskiel, general manager of the hotel.
