Paderborn gets an Intercity Hotel

The hotel group Deutsche Hospitality is expanding with a Intercity hotel. At the end of 2022, the university town of Paderborn will be home to a 190-room Intercity hotel.

The new property will be part of Paderborn's new railway station and will open at the end of 2022. Paderborn is a university town in East Westphalia with a population of 150,000 inhabitants. In this congress and conference city, the hotel will satisfy the business clientele and will offer a new meeting space.

In addition to the 190 rooms and its meeting room, the hotel will have a bistro restaurant and parking facilities. The interior design of the property will be supervised by the Italian architect, Matteo Thun.

IntercityHotel General Manager Joackim Marusczyk says :

We are looking forward to bringing all the great benefits that the IntercityHotel concept offers to business and leisure travellers in Paderborn. Together with our partner, Bremer Projektentwicklung, based in Paderborn, we are now moving on to the next steps in the project's realisation.

The Deutsche Hospitality Group owns more than 40 properties in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Oman and China. These properties are always located close to railway stations or airports and attract mainly a business clientele.
