Opening of the first Radisson Collection hotel in Turkey

The first Radisson Collection in Turkey will open in Bodrum, on the Aegean coast.

The Radisson Collection Hotel Bodrum is built on 400 metres of private beach, in a very quiet bay, close to the city. The direct view of the Aegean Sea is a strong argument for this newcomer to Turkey. This brand new hotel is located 12 kilometers west of Bodrum town and 46 kilometers from Milas-Bodrum International Airport.

The hotel has 80 rooms and suites with balconies or terraces. It has indoor and outdoor swimming pools and direct access to a private sandy beach. It also offers access to two bars, three restaurants including a beach restaurant, a fitness centre, meeting and event facilities and a 1,150m² holistic spa. The spa includes an indoor heated pool, Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, and a room with a shower that can accommodate a couple. The restaurants offer international cuisine as well as a Peruvian cuisine experience at BARranco. All these places have a direct view on the bay of Aspat.

Hotel guests will be a 30-minute drive from the city centre, close to the historical sites of Bordum: its renovated castle, the Museum of Underwater Archaeology, or the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, which is one of the seven wonders of the ancient world.

With the opening of the Radisson Collection Bodrum Hotel, Radisson Hotels Group expands its hotel portfolio in the region, including Turkey, by introducing a new brand. Vice President Central and Eastern Europe Russia & Turkey, Yilmaz Yildirimlar, says that the group is strengthening its position "as a leading hotel group in the region, with 31 hotels open and currently under development". This expansion is expected to continue in the near future.
