A new Radisson hotel opens in Izmir, Turkey

Radisson Hotel Group has announced the opening of the Radisson Hotel Izmir Aliaga in Turkey, strengthening its presence in the area.

The new hotel will be the 31st Radisson Group property to be in operation or under development in Turkey. Yilmaz Yildirimlar, Senior Regional Vice President, Central and Eastern Europe, Russia and Turkey at Radisson Hotel Group, describes the arrival of the Radisson Hotel Izmir Aliaga as « a major milestone for our Group ». He adds, « Turkey has always been a priority market for Radisson Hotel Group, and we have made no secret of our ambitions to expand rapidly in Turkey ».

This hotel will be located in one of Turkey's key ports, 60 kilometers from downtown Izmir, 90km from Izmir Adnan Menderes International Airport, and is a ten minute walk from the closest metro station. This new establishment is located 5 minutes away from the Aliaga business center. The hotel is well located for both business and leisure guests. The hotel is close to the Agapark and Sakran beaches, with hiking trails, sports fields, seaside picnic areas, bicycle paths and cafes.

The Radisson Hotel Izmir Aliaga has 185 rooms and suites, furnished according to the brand's standards, but each room or suite with its own personal touch. The hotel is equipped with a ballroom for weddings or receptions of any kind, three meeting rooms, as well as six private offices, all equipped with the latest audio-visual equipment. The meeting rooms range from 25 to 196 square meters and can accommodate up to 180 people. The Hazar Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner or even snacks. It serves different cuisines, ranging from traditional Turkish cuisine to international specialties. The hotel also has a spa and fitness center, offering guests several kinds of body treatments.
