Expected by June 2022, the new Hard Rock Hotel Marbella will join the Spanish Hard Rock Hotel portfolio, together with the Hard Rock Hotel Madrid, Ibiza and Tenerife. Located in the heart of Puerto Banús in Costa del Sol, in place of the former Andalucia Plaza Hotel, this soon-to-be expected hotel will undergo a complete transformation to feature 384 rooms of which 50 will be suites.

Earlier this year, H10 Hotels sold Andalucia Plaza Hotel to the joint venture of Bain Capital Credit, LP and Stoneweg Hospitality.

With art and memorabilia being the core concepts of the hotel, guest rooms and public spaces aim to be the reflection of Hard Rock Hotels’ identity and Spain’s culture through distinctive design aesthetic. The hotel will also feature six onsite dining establishments, where on the top floor, a rooftop terrace will host a VIP bar and an infinity pool, offering viewpoints of Playa Nueva Andalucia. An extensive wellness offer will complete the hotel, proposing an indoor heated pool, a fitness centre and a Rock Spa of which will be featured six treatment rooms, a sauna and a relaxation room.

In an effort to build customer loyalty, the firm announced the showcasing of signature brand amenities including Rock Royalty service and The Sound of Your Stay program. This latest will be a three-part offering including an in-room Crosley vinyl player, a Fender guitar delivery service and a stream or download service of curated playlists.
