Created in 2015, the boutique hotel group has reinvented the independent French industry and operates 5 hotels located in France and in Spain. In fact, the group has already developed Les Bords de Mer in Marseille, le Domaine de Fontenille in Lauris (Luberon), Santa Ponsa and TorreVella in Menorca (Balearic Islands) and has opened Les Hortensias du Lac in Hossegor in 2019, on the Atlantic coast.
The French group, owned by Frédéric Biousse et Guillaume Foucher, has announced the opening of an upper-upscale hotel in Primard, in Spring 2021.
The Domaine de Primard is located 75 kilometers away from Paris, on the west and 30 kilometers from Giverny, that hosts the Fondation Claude Monet museum. Primard is a 40-hectare country estate located on the banks of the Eure, with a 5-star hotel, gastronomic restaurant and bistro designed by Chef Eric Frechon, a 450 sqm spa with hammam, sauna, jacuzzis, gym, an outside swimming-pool, seminar and reception rooms, a guinguette on the water's edge, a farm and vegetable garden.
The hotel will nestle in a 18th century property and will offer 30 rooms and 9 suites with private terraces. The park will be home for a rose garden with more than 250 different varieties, a farm with animals and a vegetable garden using permaculture systems, such as the system implemented in le Domaine de Fontenille in Lauris. In addition, restaurants will use local and seasonal produce from the Domaine's vegetable garden. The Primard’s Bistrot will open all year round, for lunch and dinner.
The Domaine de Primard will mainly welcome city-dweller looking for disconnection, nature and slow living in order to rediscover authenticity. Thus, in accordance with experiences developed in other group properties, Primard's hotel concept will combine French art de vivre, cultural discoveries, gastronomy, well-being, simplicity and elegance.
