IHG's InterContinental Parramatta to open in 2025 in Sydney's inner west

The InterContinental Parramatta, built in partnership with owner Holdmark Property Group, will be the 11th InterContinental Hotels & Resorts in Australasia and this signing strengthens the luxury portfolio of IHG Hotels & Resorts.

Scheduled to open in 2025, the InterContinental Parramatta will be part of a dynamic mixed-use development that also includes offices and a ground-floor retail area. The owners are in the process of launching an architectural competition to find the winning design.

Located at the junction of two of Parramatta's streets - Church and Macquarie Street, the state-of-the-art hotel will feature 200 rooms, a rooftop restaurant and bar, Club Lounge, swimming pool, gym, wellness center and over 900 square meters of meeting space. It will be built to the highest ecological standards.

This hotel will create more than 360 direct jobs and 1,000 indirect jobs for Western Sydney and will play a key role in the growth and revitalization of Western Sydney post-VIOC.
