Hotel Indigo, the boutique hotel brand of IHG Hotels & Resorts, continues to grow with three new properties opening in the United States.
In order to expand the portfolio of its Hotel Indigo brand in the US, the IHG group has decided to open three new locations in three different states. These are New Orleans, Colorado and Nebraska. Each boutique hotel will reflect the history and traditions of each destination, providing an immersive and unique experience for guests.
We’re excited to continue expanding the Hotel Indigo portfolio within this important market, bringing even more unique stays to meet guests’ expectations. After two years of putting plans on pause, many travelers are looking forward to embracing authentic new experiences as well as rediscovering their own backyard. The latest Hotel Indigo openings offer rich options to immerse in vibrant and varied neighborhoods, from a mountain retreat to a cultural melting pot, coupled with inspiring design and welcoming service that have become brand hallmarks.

Hotel Indigo Silverthorne, Colorado
The brand's first mountainside hotel in the United States, Hotel Indigo Silverthorne is located between Breckenridge and Copper Mountain resorts. The hotel features 111 rooms with a design inspired by the history of the destination where many workers came to pan for gold. The property in general is inspired by its surroundings in terms of design and décor.
Hotel Indigo Silverthorne has a ski shop and bike rental service, as well as many facilities designed for exploration. It also has an indoor swimming pool overlooking the patio and a restaurant, Kúcu Bistro & Tequila Bar, which serves locally inspired dishes.
Hotel Indigo New Orleans – French Quarter, New Orleans
Hotel Indigo New Orleans - French Quarter is inspired by local traditions including the famous brass band melodies. Located in the central business district along the world's oldest continuously operating urban railway, the property is situated at the intersection where the historic St. Charles Hotel once stood.
The hotel has 143 rooms and a restaurant and lounge called the Common Interest. Hotel guests and locals alike come here to enjoy contemporary takes on traditional New Orleans cuisine.
Hotel Indigo Omaha Downtown, Nebraska
The new Hotel Indigo Omaha Downtown reflects the history of the destination while meeting the current needs of guests. The city of Omaha was home to a variety of illegal liquor businesses during the Prohibition era. The property is located near the Missouri River, which separates Nebraska from Iowa.
A special feature of this hotel, due to its rich past, is the presence of underground vaults and tunnels. As a tribute to the area's underground past, Anna's Place, a speakeasy nestled in the hotel lobby, prepares Prohibition-inspired cocktails using local spirits and ingredients.
Currently, 129 Hotel Indigo properties have opened worldwide, including the recently opened Hotel Indigo Belgrade in Serbia and Hotel Indigo Cagnes-sur-mer in France. The brand has 116 more hotels in the pipeline, with a series of global openings in 2022, including Hotel Indigo Karuizawa in Japan, Hotel Indigo Galapagos in Ecuador and Hotel Indigo Vienna - Naschmarkt in Austria.
