The Ascott Limited continues its international expansion with the opening of a new co-living property in Thailand.

The Ascott Limited has a portfolio in more than 180 cities in over 30 countries including the following brands: The Residence, Citadines Apart Hotel, Somerset, Quest, The Crest Collection and Lyf. 

The co-living brand Lyf has just opened its first property in Thailand: lyf Sukhumvit 8 Bangkok. Located in one of Bangkok's numerous shopping and entertainment centres, the hotel is surrounded by cafes, bars and restaurants.

The new property offers 196 rooms, as well as co-working spaces and a lounge area. There is also a social kitchen, a laundry, a terrace and a fitness area on the rooftop.

Iyf Sukhumvit 8 Bangkok is one of the first hotels that The Ascott will manage in partnership with Ananda Development Plc and Mitsui Fudosan Asia Development Co, Ltd. Indeed, the Group announced the opening of Somerset Rama 9 Bangkok this year, followed by Ascott Embassy Sathorn Bangkok and Ascott Sukhumvit Thonglor Bangkok in 2021 and Somerset Blue Coast Pattaya in 2022.

Meanwhile, the co-living brand Lyf announced the opening of new properties in Australia, China and the Philippines by 2023.
