The Thai operator announces plans to launch a series of projects over the next 12 months.

Centara Hotels & Resorts is embarking on an international expansion strategy that will include the opening of a series of new properties throughout the Asia-Pacific region and the Middle East.

In line with the company's goal of becoming one of the world's top 100 hotel operators within five years, this year Centara will add eight more hotels and resorts to its portfolio in seven countries, including the Centara Reserve, the new collection of hotels and resorts, and two more Centara Mirage-themed resorts.

In 2021, Centara will launch in a new era of historically-driven hospitality with the launch of Centara Reserve.

This brand will make its debut in April 2021 with the opening of Centara Reserve in Samui. Upon reopening, this experimental complex will offer 184 rooms, pool and beachfront villas, each occupied by a "reserve guest", as well as a gin bar, restaurant and beach club.

2021 will also be an opportunity to present the emergence of Centara Mirage, the concept of a themed family resort. With facilities adapted for children, including water parks and fun activities, as well as a variety of restaurants and spas, these resorts are destinations in their own right. Centara Mirage has become popular in Thailand following the success of Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya, and will soon make its debut in Vietnam and Dubai.

In April, Centara Mirage Beach Resort Mui Ne will welcome its first guests, a resort located on the southeast coast of Vietnam. The experience is inspired by water adventures at this 984-key hotel and water park, with Mediterranean-style rooms, suites and villas, leisure facilities, extensive meeting spaces, restaurants, a Cenvaree SPA and a 100-meter-high observation deck.
