Barceló Hotel Group has just opened the hotel Barceló Nura in the municipality of Sant Lluís, in the south of the island of Minorca. The architectural and interior design project is signed by FG Arquitectes and the interior designers, Mireia Vila and Miquel Pol.
This hotel, worth more than 20 million euros, has 128 rooms, 45 of which have direct access to a semi-private pool. The architectural complex, 1.5 km from the famous beach of Punta Prima and 9 km from Mahón, consists of a large solarium, three swimming pools and two restaurants.
The design of Barceló Nura was carried out by the Minorcan architectural firm FG Arquitectes, headed by architects Cristina Farreny and Rafael García.
In terms of eco-responsibility, Barceló Nura respects the environment through measures such as the use of recycled water and low consumption lighting combined with a lighting control system; the production of hot water for consumption only; or the use of control systems for air conditioning facilities that limit operation to the time necessary, and thus the electrical consumption of the entire hotel.
The interior designers Mireia Vila and Miquel Pol orchestrated the Barceló Nura's interior design, which is influenced by Phoenician culture.
