Adagio, one of the European leaders in the apartment hotel market, is pursuing its development in 2022 and has announced the opening of 7 new properties in Europe and the Middle East.
The group plans to open two new properties in Germany, the first of which will open in the first quarter and the second in the second quarter. The first, Adagio Access Kiel City, will have 90 flats with a maritime design. It is located close to the Baltic Sea to offer guests a pleasant view.
The second, Adagio Access Hamburg Muhlendamm, will have 148 flats. The common areas, including the lobby with swings, were designed by the German agency Joy Design. Street art and green walls are the focus of the property.
During the first quarter, Adagio will also open its first Qatari location, Adagio Doha C-Ring Road. This property will have 150 flats with a relatively simple design. With such a large capacity, coupled with a good location, it will be able to accommodate fans during the Football World Cup.
In the second quarter, in addition to a new German address, the group is moving into Malta for the first time with the Adagio Battery Street. The property will feature 71 flats with a distinctly urban design. A co-working space will complete the offer.
In the third quarter, Adagio will expand into Scotland with the opening of the Adagio Glasgow Custom House. The property, with 160 flats, is located in the heart of the city's shopping street and close to the River Clyde. The design of the lobby, named Le Cercle, is inspired by the industrial and harbour environment of the area, with open plan spaces.
Finally, in the fourth quarter, the group opened the Adagio Access Gent Centrum Dampoort in Belgium, in combo with Ibis Budget. With 98 flats, the property will also have a hybrid space and a bar reception.
In the last quarter, Adagio is also expanding into Italy with the opening of Adagio Access Rome Colombo. Located in the south of the city, the former building has been completely renovated and will have 106 flats. The common areas have been designed to be as user-friendly as possible.
