WorldHotels Kobuleti

WorldHotels, a subsidiary of the BWH Hotels Group, has announced plans to develop a new five-star property in Georgia's coastal city of Kobuleti, set to open in 2028. This project represents a double milestone: it will be WorldHotels' first hotel in Georgia and its inaugural hard-branded property in the EMEA region.

This project, currently under construction, will integrate luxury services and aims to meet the growing needs of both local and international tourism in development.

The future WorldHotels Kobuleti will consist of two twin towers of 47 floors, housing a total of 1,100 rooms. Planned facilities include restaurants, bars with panoramic views, coworking spaces, a spa, a fitness room, as well as a 200-seat cinema. Special attention will be given to the design of common areas and services, including infinity pools and a private beach.

The project is led by Capitol HPS, responsible for the expansion of BWH Hotels in Georgia, in collaboration with GEUZ International, responsible for construction.

This initiative is part of a strategy aimed at capitalizing on the growth of tourism in Georgia. Kobuleti, a coastal city renowned for its beaches and natural sites, is a strategic location for hotel development. Local attractions include Petra Castle, Kintrishi National Park, and cultural venues such as the "Black Sea Arena."

The WorldHotels Kobuleti project illustrates BWH Hotels' ambitions for regional development and adaptation to the specificities of the Georgian market. Once completed, it will aim to combine luxury, innovation, and customer experience in a context of strong tourism growth.

"This is an incredibly unique hotel in a one-of-a-kind destination," said Wytze Vandenberg, Vice President of International Operations and WorldHotels for BWH Hotels in EMEA. “We have been involved since the early stages of this project and are excited to add it to our portfolio of amazing properties. We are seeing tourism expand exponentially, and with travelers eager to explore cultural destinations, we believe bringing WorldHotels to the beautiful country of Georgia is a natural fit.”

"I am thrilled to witness the development of this luxury beachside wellness resort in Kobuleti, Georgia, proudly operating under the WorldHotels Elite brand," said Sulkhan Khalvashi, Managing Partner of Advance Consulting LLC, GEUZ International's consulting partner in the project. "This project is a testament to the shared commitment of elevating the hospitality experience and setting new standards in wellness tourism."
